   these are the changes that have taken place to omenview during the last
   month or so.. .

-version 1.0 beta F
-compiled 8-19-96

     -users can hit ALT-D for a dos shell
     -detects ansi.sys uses it if it's there. if not uses internal routines
     -detects os in use.. and version number
     -fixed little thingie when user hit f1 screen would scroll down/then
      up..  then to return to matrix it would scroll UP again.. looks ugly
      fixed it..
     -changed some of the internal data structures
     -MOVED over the sauce info to fit a longer artist name (pyro request)
     -ALT-F feature implemented .. user can press alt-f and fill out the
      omen application.. (same as omen-app.exe only internal)
     -changed some code around.. make easier for me =)
     -thanks to lagger for giving some good ideas! (no code tho mike!)

     -ALT-A key now functional .. defaults to on the autoscroll feature
      is now implemented.. just tap ALT-A to toggle
     -sauce info in matrix moved over AGAIN! added even MORE room
     -more code rewritten..making source smaller and more compact
     -new little screen when program is launched...tells
      cpu type
      windows version (if running)
      dos version (if running)
      ansi.sys loaded?

     -sorry guys for giving you EVERY new little feature i add but
      i just get so excited =)
     -fixed up the omen help file
     -added a screen bounce toggle ALT-B (does this conflict with your
      virii program pyro =) )..  when off the screen will just stop
      at the top or bottom .. when ON it'll bounce
     -added NEW AWESOME feature that'll let people delete files while
      in omenview!!@ just hit the DEL key on the highlited file..
      NOTE: it will not prompt you it'll just delete it..  hope this
      doesn't kill too many files on peoples computers ;)
     -scrolling procedure REWRITTEN making for better looking scroller

     -omenview now has a different screen mode! yup thats right
      the command is ALT-C  you can toggle between 80x25 and 80x50
      screen modes.. look for 320x200 and 640x400 soon!
      (note: SMOOTH scrolling was a tad difficult in this mode
             it may be a little choppy .. i'm working on it)
     -more bugs are fixed.. making omenview just about bug-free!
     -code compiled more.. unable to decompress code.. now only 19k
      one of the smallest viewers ever!!@ =)
     -new feature to hit ALT-M to change file mask
      (asked for by artistic implosion) ..

     -made it load up directory so when omen screen fades in
      the there isn't a pause (art_imp)
     -made it clear screen and show the detecting stuff. in a diff
      way then last time (art_imp)
     -omenview now has a config file called omenview.cfg ..
      it is stored in the \ directory because on figured some people
      might not have the \dos directory.. EVERYONE TRY THIS OUT
      MAKE SURE IT WORKS!! it does to my knowledge

     -hit ALT-M for file mask and the ansi will display.
      makes it look lots nicer
     -redid all the alt keys to f keys.. left some alt keys..
     -put box around the F7 for file mask...........
     -fixed end button (did anyone notice?)
     -omenview will now ASK if you want to delete the file that you
      hit del on.. used art_imp's ansi
     -uses the new ansi by artimp ..  for del and file mask

     -added the ansi when you exit the program
     -fixed ansi problems in the del and file mask keys
     -took out keyboard procedure that killed my mouse driver
     -now user can hit F2 when their viewing ansi.. much easier
     -fixed problems with cursor showing up
     -re_added the ALT keys. i was getting used to them and don't like
      the Fkeys.. BUT the user can hit the f keys or alt keys.. doesn't
      matter
     -now there is a little help info in the omenview.cfg file.
      to see it delete your omenview.cfg file and rerun omenview..
     -fixed bug where it wouldn't change screen mode with F2 if the
      ansi was less than 25 lines..
